Mechanical Systems

A designer is an emerging synthesis of artist, inventor, mechanic, objective economist and evolutionary strategist.—Buckminster Fuller, philosopher, inventor, and architect

The science and engineering of automated lighting systems has matured to the point where reliability, in general, has greatly improved and the mean time between failures is surprisingly high. It wasn't always the case. Automated lighting used to be one part engineering and three parts re-engineering.
