Build a SharePoint 2010 Farm
You have two options available to you to configure a server as a member of a SharePoint Farm. You can use either the SharePoint Configuration Wizard (SCW) or the various cmdlets that, when run in the appropriate order, replicate the functionality of the SCW. (You can also use the PSConfig.exe command-line tool as we did with SharePoint 2007, but that approach is considered deprecated in favor of the equivalent cmdlets).
