Implement Security

SharePoint is only as good as the security it provides around the data that it protects. When most users think of security, they think only of the users that can access a particular Web Application, Site Collection, Site, Library, or List Item. However, security is so much more than who has access to what items. In the following sections, we are going to take a look at the security items that are related to Web Applications. These will include blocked file types, user permissions, and the various policies: User, Anonymous, and Permissions.
