Provision Web Analytics Services
The new Web Analytics Services Service Application in SharePoint 2010 offers the capability to collect and analyze how implementation is being used. It provides us with reports so that we can gain an understanding of the needs of our end users. These reports can be organized into several categories: traffic, search, and inventory.
Traffic reports show end-user activity such as popular pages, frequent users, total clicks, and incoming and outgoing navigation. This information is further broken down into trend analysis and ranking reports. The trend analysis reports display information such as the number of page views, daily unique visitors, and number of referrers. Rank reports will list the top pages, top visitors, ...
