Provision State Services

Some Microsoft SharePoint 2010 components need data to be stored temporarily across HTTP requests. State Services accomplishes this by storing data in SQL Server. Some of the components that require this service include InfoPath Form Services, Visio Services, Access Services, publishing workflows, and the SharePoint Server 2010 Chart Web Part. The configuration of the State Services cannot be accomplished through the UI and is available only through Windows PowerShell. (You can configure State Services via the Farm Configuration Wizard, but we strongly recommend against using this wizard in production environments.)
