Provision Excel Services
Excel Services has improved considerably since its introduction with SharePoint 2007. Namely, as with all the services, Excel Services has been upgraded to the new Service Application architecture that now gives administrators the flexibility to provision different configurations of Excel Services easily so that they meet the varying demands of their particular environments. The Excel Web Access component of Excel Services, the component that facilitates the rendering of Excel workbooks in the browser, has also been considerably improved and allows a much higher level of fidelity between what users see in the Excel client application compared to what they see rendered in the browser.
