Back Up and Restore a Farm
A SharePoint Farm can contain vast amounts of logical components that can be backed up. We, as SharePoint professionals, have an obligation to our user base to provide a way to restore data from a wide variety of issues ranging from user mishaps to complete hardware failure. In the following sections, we focus on backup and recovery related to Farm-level failures as well as migration of Farm configurations and components between Farms. Specifically, we cover the following topics:
