Most creative people are also messy people, and Avid editors are some of the filthiest people in the industry. But, hope is not lost, and there is always room for improvement. These tips will help you develop better organizational habits—at least whenever you are in front of an Avid. Not only is cleanliness next to godliness, but it will make you more efficient as well. If you ever find yourself in the unfortunate but all too common situation in which the client or producer wants to supervise your editing, you will want to impress them with your excellent media hygiene.
