In this section, we are going to create our very first scalable database using the Amazon RDS service. For simplicity, I will be deploying a simple MySQL database using the RDS Management Console; however, you can use any of the database engines provided by RDS for your testing purposes, including Oracle, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, as well as SQL Server.
