- C. To remove a cached object before its TTL timer expires, you need to invalidate the file to force the edge to request a new file from the origin. Setting the TTL to zero is not a valid option, and replacing the file at the origin does not automatically force an update at the cache since the cache has TTL timers that define how long that locally stored data is fresh. There are no file management utilities in the CloudFront console.
