Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) enables you to isolate and launch AWS Resources into the virtual network. VPC closely resembles a traditional network that you define in your on-premise with the benefits of using an elastic and scalable architecture. You can define public and private subnets in your virtual cloud, and it provides an ability to extend your existing corporate network to the cloud.
