Understanding deployment models on Elastic Beanstalk

Now you know the different environment types, let's discuss the different deployment models available on Elastic Beanstalk. There are five deployments models that you can choose from, depending on your requirement. These models are useful either when you are deploying new versions of the application or reverting back to an old one.

  • All at once deployment: This is in-place deployment. Beanstalk chooses existing EC2 instances to do this type of deployment. This is one of the fastest methods and requires no DNS change.
