In theory, it is possible to have a WebSphere BI Connect hub next to an FTP hub.
However, this would mean that Company E loses a single point of control for all of
its B2B transactions. By integrating the FTP server into WebSphere BI Connect,
you can, for example, use the document viewer for all transactions with all trading
partners. Also, whenever Company F is ready to upgrade its FTP server to a full
