Mixers

INTRODUCTION TO MIXERS

There is great variety and purpose in mixers; Music recording and mix-downs, Television and Radio, Motion Picture sound-track, and Concert, Auditorium, and Outdoor Event coverage. With the exception of systems that call for preset controls, and some dedicated purpose stereo mixers, the standard format has evolved into groups of modular input and output channels. A basic four in, eight out mixer is shown in Fig. 8.1.
