Background
Over the last several years, there has been a movement by many state regulatory agencies to put in place Employer Notification Services (ENS) programs that notify employers of changes to a driver’s record in a timely manner. Today, ten states currently offer some form of an ENS program (Arkansas, California, Illinois, Michigan, Nebraska, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Virginia, and Wisconsin).
