Main metabolism

Abstract:

The main metabolic pathways, such as the glycolysis (EMP pathway), pentose phosphate pathway, the TCA cycle, the Entner Doudoroff pathway, as well as anaplerotic and gluconeogenetic pathways, are explained. The respiratory chain pathway is also explained in relation to energy generation. Amino acids and fatty acid synthetic pathways and various carbohydrate pathways are also explained.
