CHEMICAL BONDING AND MOLECULAR STRUCTURE
The force which binds atoms together in a molecule is called a chemical bond. Bond formation is always an energy releasing process i.e., an exothermic process. It is shown in the graph below:

Different types of chemical bonds
- Strong bonds
- Ionic (or Electrovalent) bond
- Covalent bond
- Coordinate covalent bond.
