This is the first of three chapters that collectively describe being agile. These chapters include many concepts that form the core of understanding how we need to view agile projects and people working in them. When we need to define a tool or metric that is part of doing agile to fully describe a concept, we will do so briefly in a textbox and then cover it more fully in the second half of this book.
