Let me share a very interesting (and admittedly troubling) case study that was brought to me by a sales professional who sells homes in Austin, Texas. As she was showing a home to a couple, the husband and wife had dramatically different responses. The wife loved the home and communicated this fact emotionally and enthusiastically. Her husband was as cold as ice throughout the entire process and looked as if he would gladly have been anywhere else on the planet but in that home. The couple left without making a purchase decision.
