This is a story with powerful lessons for anyone who wants to harness the power of being the best at what matters the most. After 30 years of working with some of the best companies and organizations in the world, it takes a lot to impress me. This little company in Memphis, Tennessee, absolutely knocks my socks off.
Memphis Invest is a family business founded by Kent Clothier, Sr., in 2004, and it has grown into a multigenerational family-owned business that provides real estate investment opportunities in both the Memphis and Dallas markets. Kent's sons, Brett, Chris, and Kent, Jr., lead the management team. The company manages all phases of the investment process on behalf of its investors, from property acquisition to renovation and tenant management. Their goal is to maximize their clients' investment dollars and minimize risk while providing positive cash flow, tax benefits, and “peace of mind investing” for all of their clients, who are located throughout the United States and around the world.
Memphis Invest was recognized as Business of the Year in their local community in 2012, and it was nominated for Small Business of the Year by the Memphis Business Journal.
