Set the Next Shift Up for Success

In many frontline positions, you’ll have members of your team who have the same job you do, whose lives you directly impact, and who you often never see. These are the teammates who work different shifts. No matter how the shifts are organized at your job, one of the most important things you can do to be a great teammate is to set the next shift up for success. Whether you’re opening the store and making sure things are straight for those who close up at night or you’re working weekday shifts and setting the stage for the weekend crew, you can make sure team members on the shifts that follow are ready to roll by taking the time to proactively address potential issues.
