CAPTAIN OF YOUR DESTINY OR CAPTAIN OF INDUSTRY?

Many people dream of being their own boss, and it is important to recognise the detail in that phrase. ‘Being your own boss’ doesn’t mean that you have to be anyone else’s boss as well. Setting up your own business doesn’t necessarily mean that you:

a) want to create an empire with lots of people reporting to you; nor does it mean that you

b) want to generate an enormous amount of wealth.

 

You may want to do one or other of these things, but not wanting to isn’t a problem; unless you are going into ‘the dragons’ den’.
