A challenge that many projects experience is what tools should be used to help with code management, project management, testing, and deployment. In this chapter, we will look at the tools necessary to assist in successfully running and deploying a D365 project. We will look at the following tools:
- Azure DevOps
- Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS)
- Task Recorder
- The Regression suite automation tool (RSAT)
- Visual Studio
At the end of this chapter, I’ll walk through the process of getting a DevOps project created for an ERP project.
