A blank page may have nothing on it, but it’s the most important nothing a designer will encounter. It is the platform upon which great design is built. It is here that you establish your world—the dimensions of your page, its orientation, its active space, and whether it appears alone or in pairs. These choices affect how the page is perceived, how it’s touched, how it’s read, and ultimately, its success.
