6.2. Packaging to AIR
There are many ways to package your application to an AIR package. For Flex projects, the options are Flex Builder 3 or the free SDK. For HTML projects, the options are Dreamweaver CS3 or the free SDK, and for Flash projects the options are Flash CS3 or the free SDK. The following examples demonstrate how to package to AIR using Flex Builder 3, Dreamweaver CS3, Flash CS3, and the AIR SDK.
6.2.1. Packaging with Flex Builder 3
To package your AIR project to an AIR package within Flex Builder 3, with the project you wish to export selected, select File Export Release Build (see Figure 6-18).

This will launch the Export Release Build wizard, which will guide you through the creation of the distributable AIR package. Step 1 of this process, shown in Figure 6-19, asks you to select the project and main application file that you wish to package as well as the location where the package will be created.
