Our goal in object modeling is to render a precise, concise, understandable object-oriented (OO) model, or blueprint, of the system to be automated. This model will serve as an important tool for communication:
To the future users of the system that we are about to build, an object model communicates part of the understanding of the system requirements (along with screen mock-ups, architecture diagrams, infrastructure design, and so on).
