In this chapter, you will learn how to use the Wearic textile pressure sensor with your wearables to make them pressure sensitive. Textile pressure sensors can be used to detect touch and determine different levels of pressure while squeezing. A microcontroller can be used to read the sensor values and process them to identify the level of pressure or force. The results are used to activate things like LEDs, alarms, and motors or to trigger stuff like text messages, tweets, sending data to IoT clouds, and so on.
