Everything that happens, happens somewhere! Google Maps has revolutionized how we see and use location-based information. As recently as 2005, there was no good way to put a map on your web page without paying large sums of money for solutions that still had many shortcomings. Google changed all of that, first with its unprecedented draggable maps, and soon after with the release of a free API that allowed anyone to use those maps on their own websites.
