If you read the last few chapters, you should be well equipped now with your knowledge of JavaScript and its interaction with cascading style sheets (CSS) and HTML. Now you will learn about some of the most common uses of JavaScript on the Web these days, and we’ll go through some examples. In these examples, you’ll see how to ensure that these implementations of JavaScript work independently of other scripts on the page, and I’ll explain what problems might occur.
