It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Referencing Data Stored on Other Sheets
You can write formulas that point to cells located on other sheets within the same worksheet document. All that you need to do is a small change of the target cell's address.
If you want to reference cell B2 on sheet California, type =California.B2.
