Chapter 7. Customizing User Interfaces

As an Application Builder, you should never overlook the key functionality required in your APEX applications. The first five chapters of this tutorial section have focused on including that functionality in the sample application.

But your users may not appreciate the elegance of your design and implementation. For them, beauty is page deep, and their expectations might require you to spend time sprucing up the appearance of your APEX components.

The APEX user interface enforces a standard look and feel, and you do have productive ways to modify the appearance of individual pages as well as your entire application, or even groups of applications. This chapter will cover the ways you can satisfy your users' look and feel desires without interfering with any of the capabilities you have already included in your application.
