14. Building Portal Apps

Power Apps portals are Internet-facing websites that we build using the low code methodology of Power Apps. Both internal and external users can access a portal. They therefore provide a great way to build apps that customers, clients, and other users can access.

Compared to other website-building platforms, a key benefit of a portal is that we can easily build data retrieval and data entry screens against the records in Dataverse. We can do this in a no code way by reusing the same views and forms from our model-driven apps.
