So far, we’ve seen how to use Microsoft Excel as a data source. Although Excel is simple to use and understand, Power Apps supports many other data sources. For data storage, two common data sources that outperform Excel are SharePoint and SQL Server. These data sources are capable of storing greater amounts of data and provide several additional features, which we’ll find out more about in this chapter.
