Scribus Basics

Most word processing systems are, by their very nature, limited in what they will allow you to do in terms of document layout. They are mainly concerned with creating textual content, and with copying and editing texts. However, they are not the most appropriate tools for preparing a publication for professional printing, as there is no real design element.
