Installing Windows 8 on Your Computer
Whether you get your copy of Windows 8 with a shiny new PC, off the shelf from your local store, or on a software subscription package from Microsoft, you’ll need to install it at some point; either to replace an earlier version of Windows on your computer or when something goes wrong.
Installing Windows 8 is something that can be done fairly simply and without fuss. In fact, it’s the least fussy version of Windows ever. It allows you to upgrade from an earlier version of the operating system, or wipe out an existing one, while keeping all of your files intact.
