I typically do not discuss agile tooling when initially helping teams adopt Agile. I believe the initial focus should be on Agile values and principles and then the processes and practices. Agile tooling discussions should occur as a readiness activity within the RICH deployment model so that it is clear to the team what tools will be used within the project and product context.
