Abstract

Since Boolean functions play a key role for constructing components of symmetric ciphers, their cryptographic properties are of great interest. In this chapter, we discuss the possibilities to combine “bentness” with other special characteristics of a Boolean function (high correlation immunity; resiliency; balancedness; high algebraic immunity, etc.).
