Courtney was 21, recently out of college, and ready to get her career and life started. Following graduation from Vanderbilt, she landed a position in Chicago as a research analyst at a professional services firm. Courtney was filled with a host of emotions as she entered the workforce—excitement, anticipation, anxiety, hope.
