Lees’ Story: A Millennial’s Perspective

How much of it was it the time in my life and how much of it was his doing? I’m not sure. But he gave me the ability to trust myself by (always) making me feel valued. I knew that I mattered, not only as an employee, but as a person.

By all accounts, Lees appeared to be an adventurous and confident young woman. Her early life journey took her from a small Canadian village on British Columbia’s Vancouver Island to Montreal’s McGill University, and then off to London with her college sweetheart, Jeremy, who was pursuing his master’s degree at the UK’s Royal School of Music. All of this happened before she was 25 years old.
