Best practices refer to the standard, approved techniques that most people expect you to follow when working on page layouts. These are the best practices I have defined after more than 20 years of teaching computer graphics and page-layout programs.
Some of these practices are typographic techniques that will make your documents look more professional. Others are the automation tips and tricks that professionals use to work faster. Others are the commonly used techniques that people expect to see in your document. And still others are the little things you can do to make your document print and output better.
