B.1. Program Management Plan and Template
ABSTRACT: The Program Management Plan (PMP) describes actions, methods, and tools for managing software development on a project. Upper management should encourage all personnel on projects having a software component to prepare a PMP, whether the software is to be a deliverable to an external customer, an internal customer, or an end user.
The PMP describes organizational structure, responsibilities, actions, methods, and tools for performing project management on a software project.
