Setting up Location Monitors and Cameras
Many people get shown how to set up camera viewfinders and monitors when they do their basic camera training, but if you have missed this or simply didn’t have time for it then this chapter will give you a good idea of how to do it and why it’s important. At times when you are shooting away, say, in other countries, you might be using hired-in cameras and monitors or working in difficult conditions, or the kit you are traveling with might have been dropped or knocked and will need resetting. And if you don’t understand how to correctly adjust the viewfinder or monitor manually when you are out in the field, then you stand a real chance of recording overexposed or underexposed pictures.
