The debate on choosing the best camera will go on forever and choosing the best kit to operate on a daily basis will never be straightforward. Most of your decisions will be based on the type of work you shoot, your budget, which editing system you use, and your clients’ requirements for which recording format they use. As mentioned in Chapter 1 the amount of video cameras on the market today to choose from is huge (see chapter 1), and after making this choice we are still left to work out which recording format will be the best.
