Web sites often contain a good deal of repeated text: product descriptions, company slogans, legalese. Once you translate a sentence, you shouldn’t have to pay for it to be translated again. Translation memory is software that stores previously translated sentences for reuse. Think of TM as a recycle bin for your translated text.
