Personal performance and career-defining accomplishments are almost always generated by doing two things simultaneously: One, reaching out to networks broadly for help early in the life cycles of projects; it is critical to engage others at the moment when we are busiest and our thinking is most nebulous. Two, we must create enthusiasm and draw others to our work and ideas.
