Integrative Visioning

Step six

Having developed the shared reflections and intuitive visions we have now to go beyond this and develop an integration of these two by comparing and synthesizing or balancing them. The resulting vision is the integrative one. This then becomes the “new-paradigm” manager's driving force in life and also indicates the relevant activity and priorities for your immediate future. The entire process of developing an integrative vision is essentially a “learning process” which enables you to develop a “learning culture” (see Part IV) within your self and your family, as well as in any organization. While the process of developing a reflective vision stimulates your intellectual and imaginative faculties, it is still within the framework of a “responsible” view of reality and future possibilities. The intuitive processes “free” you from this state and facilitate a kind of creative or “quantum” leap. The real challenge is to engage, on a continuing basis, in the process of learning to integrate the two levels of visioning. As in the case of synthesizing your personal and professional intuitive visions there will be a continuing creative tension between the intuitive and reflective visions.
