The Coordination Team

Selection, Training, and Responsibilities

Competent coordination is central to the success of facilitated mentoring. The coordination team members orchestrate all the elements of the process. In most instances, the coordination team members are permanent employees, usually with other duties in operations, finance, human resources, or personnel. Small organizations, or those with small pilot processes, might consider contracting this function out. It is often more cost-effective to outsource tasks that do not fall within the core business.
