2.6.2. Panels

A user or customer panel is a database of contact information for people who have previously agreed to participate in upcoming surveys or studies. A particular organization can create its own panels from customer lists or a proprietary customer panel can be used.

TIP

Some commonly used companies for panels at the time this book was written include eRewards, Greenfield, Harris Interactive, ORC (Opinion Research Corporation), Synovate, and TNS/Research International.

How they work
