7.3. UserZoom

UserZoom is a fully featured system for creating and administering a wide variety of online usability studies. Our sample study of the TerraPass Web site was created using UserZoom. As shown in Figure 7.17, tasks are presented in a small window at the bottom of the screen. The user navigates a prototype or live site in the main window to find the answer to the task. Task success can be determined by getting the correct answer to a question or by having reached a predefined success URL. Task time is recorded automatically, as are clickstream data. A variety of questions and rating scales can also be used.
