WebEffective is a fully featured online system for creating and administering a wide variety of online usability studies. Our “true intent” study of MeasuringUX.com was created with WebEffective. As shown in Figure 7.27, tasks are presented in a small toolbar at the top of the screen (in this example). The user navigates a prototype or live site in the main window to accomplish the task. Once the user finds the answer, he or she clicks on an “Answer” button in the toolbar, which pops up a window for selecting an answer.
